1. Concentrate on the present. Don't worry about what happened in the past or what will happen in the future. You can't change the past and you don't know what will happen tomorrow. 3. Find an activity that makes you feel calm and without stress. You might want to listen to relaxing music, or do some reading. 6. Smile, but don't clench your teeth. Do this even if you are not feeling happy because smiling will actually make you feel good. Just keep in mind that clenching your teeth while you smile will make you feel more stressed, so pay attention to your facial muscles and make sure they are relaxed.
7. Rate your problems and give them a number from 1 to 10. Then write down your problems on a piece of paper and figure out what you can change and what is not possible to change. Once you take action on the problems you can change and you understand that there is no use worrying about the ones you can't change you will probably feel better.
